A youth climbed onto a roof in a town centre and fired a catapult at passers-by below, police have said.
The incident happened in Sittingbourne High Street at about 4.30pm yesterday (Monday, February 17).
Officers on patrol in the town quickly attended, but the boy had gone.
Kent Police said: “Inquiries are under way to identify the teenager and steps are also being taken to prevent further access to the building.”
