Central Park Stadium to stage 15-heat Futurama championship sponsored by Buckmore Park Karting

Twelve of the UK's most promising speedway riders will be competing at Central Park stadium on Monday for the inaugural Futurama meeting.

The 15-heat individual championship, sponsored by Buckmore Park Karting, begins at 6.30pm.

They will be up against 10 other competitors, including Andrew Palmer and Maidstone's Dan Berwick, both representing one-off side for the occasion, Buckmore Bombers.

Suffolk's Macauley Leek makes a return to Central Park, having come third in Great Britain's Youth Championship last season.

Mildenhall Fen Tigers will be represented by Tom Bacon and 16-year-old Connor King, who will be making their first appearances at Central Park. Milton Keynes Knights racer Rob Watts will be taking part as will free-agents Nick Laurence and Chris Neame.
