A man has been taken to a London hospital after being found injured at a seaside hotel.

Police were called to the building in Buenos Ayres, Margate , at 3.20pm today.

An air ambulance landed nearby at Margate Main Sands - but he was later taken a London hospital by road.

A police spokesman said: "Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident remain ongoing and officers remain at the scene."

Photographs from the scene show two police cars and an ambulance parked on the corner of Buenos Ayres and Station Approach.
