Margate: Biker injured in crash at junction

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash in Margate.

The incident happened at the junction of Dane Road and Approach Road at 11.30am.

Police spokesman Amanda Wills said: "Police were called at 11.31am on Monday, June 5, to a two vehicle road traffic collision in Approach Road, Margate, involving a car and a motorbike.

"The male motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. No other injuries were reported."

Dane Road was closed in both directions and was reopened just before 12.30pm.
