Louisa Bay cliffs: Boy taken to hospital with serious injuries after fall

A teenage boy is fighting for his life after plunging from cliffs in Broadstairs.

Emergency crews were called just before 11.30am yesterday to reports the 16-year-old boy had fallen from the cliffs at Louisa Bay.

Police, two ambulances, two paramedic cars and the air ambulance were sent to the scene.

The boy was flown to King's College Hospital in London with serious injuries including to his head and back.

He remains in a "critical but stable" condition.

Police are looking into the circumstances behind the incident.
