Margate: Caravan fire in Tenterden Way in the Millmead area

A caravan became engulfed in flames in a residential area this afternoon

Fire crews were called to the scene in Tenterden Way in the Millmead area of Margate at about 3.30pm.

It is not yet known how the caravan became alight.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using a hose reel jet and compressed air foam.

There were no casualties and the cause in not yet known.
