Thanet men charged after Broadstairs police raid

Class A drugs, cannabis, mobile phones and cash were seized from a home during a police raid.

Officers discovered the items as they searched a property in Hereson Road, Broadstairs, on Wednesday morning.

The following day, James O'Brien, of Cecil Square in Margate, and Giles Lintott, 27, were each charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and possession of cannabis.

O'Brien, 35, was remanded in custody to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on a date to be confirmed, following a hearing in front of Folkestone magistrates earlier today.

Meanwhile, Lintott, of Woodford Avenue in Ramsgate, was released on bail to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, August 26.
