Crews at scene of caravan fire in Spitfire Way, Manston near Ramsgate

Firefighters spent four hours at the scene of a caravan blaze.

Three crews were called to Spitfire Way near Ramsgate at 3.50pm where a static mobile home was alight.

The fire then spread to several nearby pallets.

Pictures showed plumes of smoke coming from some bushes.

Craig Overy, who was at the scene, told KentOnline: “I work at the Spitfire Cafe.

“We saw the smoke from the cafe and two fire engines coming from different directions.”

Kent Fire and Rescue Service confirmed there were no reported injuries.

The cause of the blaze is unknown.
