The trial of two men charged with attempting to murder a prison guard at a maximum security jail has been set for September 14.

Together with 24-year-old Londoner Brusthom Ziamani, Hockton is alleged to have set upon officer Neil Trundle who sustained stab and slash wounds to his head, chest and face.

They were charged on March 3 with attempted murder.

A preliminary hearing was held at the Old Bailey today and both are remanded ahead of their trial.
