Detectives release images after Currys robbery in Broadstairs Retail Park

Detectives investigating a robbery at a Currys store have released CCTV images of a man.

Police say two men entered the shop in Broadstairs Retail Park – and one approached a staff member to request items, which were put behind the counter.

But the man reportedly typed out multiple threatening messages on his phone, which he showed the staff member as he demanded the goods be handed over.

The second suspect approached and took the items, including iPhones and headphones, before they both ran off.

The member of staff was not injured during the incident shortly before 7pm on Friday, February 21.

Officers would like to speak to the person pictured in the CCTV images.
