Three dogs, three rabbits, two guinea pigs and 20 cats have been taken from a home by the RSPCA following welfare concerns.
Police and social services attended an address in Ramsgate along with the charity on Monday.
The search warrant was carried out to investigate animal welfare concerns.
After the visit, a menagerie of animals was taken into the care of the RSPCA.
A spokesperson said: “On Monday, June 9, RSPCA officers, supported by Kent Police, and Kent County Council Social Services attended a residential address in Ramsgate.
“Twenty cats, three dogs, three rabbits and two guinea pigs were taken into RSPCA care, examined by veterinary staff and provided with medical treatment where necessary.
“We are unable to comment further at this time for legal reasons.”
While the address of the home has not been confirmed, police shared a photo of teams at Staffordshire Car Park in the town.
A spokesman for the force said on X: “Kent Police supported the RSPCA in executing a search warrant to investigate animal welfare concerns.
“When offences against animal welfare require action, we work in partnership to ensure enforcement is carried out effectively.”
