A man was cut free from the wreckage of his car following an accident on Saturday morning.

The driver, who's blue Fiat was the only car involved, was being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The London-bound A299 Thanet Way was closed following the accident near the St Nicholas-At-Wade roundabout just before 10am.

The vehicle was eventually cleared from the carriageway and the road reopened around midday.
