Police are hunting for a driver after a car smashed into a wall and ended up on its roof.

Emergency services were called to Queens Road in Broadstairs shortly before 6.45am after the vehicle overturned.

The car has since been recovered and the road was clear by about 9.15am.

A police spokesman said: "Police received a report at 6.42am that a car had collided with a wall and was on its roof.

"Officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene in Queens Road in Broadstairs.

"Following the recovery of the car, the road was clear by about 9.15am.

"Enquiries are ongoing to locate the driver, who reportedly left the scene following the incident."
