A two-car crash blocked a road this morning.

The incident happened on Manston Court Road, Manston, just before 9am.

Ambulance and fire crews worked together to help free a woman trapped inside one of the vehicles.

Firefighters used hydraulic equipment to remove the roof of the car.

The road has since reopened but police say there is still congestion in the area.

The woman's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
