Kilo of cocaine discovered in Westgate-on-Sea raid as duo charged

Two men are to appear in court after police probing alleged drug dealing raided a home.

Officers discovered more than a kilo of suspected Class A substances when they seized cash and mobile phones at the property in Adrian Square, Westgate-on-Sea.

The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate charged a duo following the raid on Sunday morning.

Daniel D’age, 40, of Adrian Square, Westgate-on-Sea and 21-year-old Matthew Phillips of Whytecliffe Road, South Purley, are accused of being concerned in the supply of cocaine, heroin and cannabis.

They were also charged with possession of criminal property.

The two men were remanded to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today.
