Two attempted murder arrests after man, 45, stabbed at Birchington railway station

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was left fighting for his life after a stabbing.

The incident happened at Birchington railway station shortly after 1.15am today.

The victim, a 45-year-old man, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

British Transport Police confirmed this morning two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Inquiries into the incident are continuing, and anyone with information can contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 13 of 14/01/21.
