Emergency services descended on a block of flats following a disturbance early in the morning on Easter Sunday.

A man was injured in the incident at Trove Court in Newcastle Hill, Ramsgate, just before 5.15am, prompting a large response by police and paramedics.

Several emergency vehicles were called to the scene, where a witness reported seeing a person who was “covered in blood”.

A police spokeswoman said: “We were called to a report of a disturbance at 5.14am on Sunday, April 20.

“Officers attended a property in Newcastle Hill in Ramsgate.

“A man and a woman were arrested but later released without charge.”
