'Eastern European' man 'robs bar with knife' in Harbour Street, Ramsgate

A manhunt is underway after an "eastern European" allegedly robbed a bar armed with a knife.

The man reportedly walked into a pub in Harbour Street in Ramsgate at about 1am on Sunday, carrying a knife.

He then demanded cash from staff, before stealing a quantity of money from the till.

He was seen leaving on foot towards the High Street, in the direction of King's Place.

The suspect is described as wearing a grey hooded top, jogging bottoms and trainers, and had his face covered with a scarf.

He is believed to speak with a foreign, possibly eastern European accent.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery is asking to call police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/16164/18.
