Stabbing in Margate: Tesco store sealed off by police in Northdown Road, Cliftonville

A Tesco Metro store was taped off by police after a man was stabbed.

Emergency services were called to the store at about 2pm following the report of an assault outside the supermarket.

A man has been taken to a London hospital.

It is believed the victim and offender were known to one another.

Inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
