Ramsgate: Phone and wallet stolen during robbery in Nursery Close

A man had his wallet and phone stolen during a robbery in Ramsgate.

The incident is reported to have happened in Nursery Close between 12.50pm and 1.20pm on Friday, November 9.

The victim, a man in his 40s, told officers he had been approached by a man who demanded he hand over his wallet and phone.

The suspect, who is described as being white, 6ft tall, of a stocky build and wearing a grey Lacoste tracksuit, then drove off towards Ramsgate town centre in a Ford Transit van.

Detective inspector Keith Taylor said: "We are appealing for anyone who saw the incident, or who recognises the description of the suspect – or of a white woman with blonde hair and a red coat who was with him at the time - to contact us."
