Masked muggers leave two men with head injuries in separate Ramsgate attacks

Three masked muggers have left two victims in hospital with head injuries.

The violent gang attacked two separate people in Ramsgate within the space of an hour last night.

The first attack happened at about 9pm, when a man in his 30s was approached in Whitehall Road, at the junction with Nixon Avenue, by three men wearing masks.

They demanded the victim’s belongings and he suffered head injuries which needed hospital treatment.

A second incident then took place at 9.55pm.

On this occasion, a man in his 40s was approached by three men in Princes Road at the junction with Central Road.

They matched the same description of the suspects for the previous incident and also demanded his belongings.

This victim also suffered head injuries which required hospital treatment.

Prior to both incidents, the three suspects were seen getting out of a dark hatchback style car with a loud exhaust.

The victims are known to each other and police believe both incidents are linked.
