Picture of Broadstairs mum Nicole Elkabbas who allegedly faked cancer for donations

A picture of the mum accused of fraudulently accepting £45,000 in donations after claiming to have cancer has emerged.

Nicole Elkabbas, of Edge End Road in Broadstairs, has been charged with six counts of fraud following an investigation by detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.

The 40-year-old is alleged to have falsley claimed to have required treatment for cancer in order to receive money from the public between February and August last year.

Ms Elkabbas was charged on Friday, April 5 and will appear before Margate magistrates on Thursday, May 2.
