There was a special fairy tale atmosphere as the sparkling Christmas lights were switched on at Thanet's Westwood Cross centre.

Some of the cast of the Marlowe Theatre's panto Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs joined kmfm breakfast presenter Johnny Lewis on stage for the switch-on.

And just to add an extra touch of magic a few snow flakes fell just as the button was pushed.

TV presenter Stephen Mulhern and Broadway star Valerie Cutko were among the panto cast who attended.
