Paramedics called to Tesco Extra in Margate Road, Broadstairs, after man collapses

Paramedics were called to a Tesco Extra supermarket this morning after a man collapsed.

The incident happened at the store in Margate Road, Broadstairs, at about 10.40am.

Members of the public delivered first aid to the man before emergency crews arrived.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said: “We were called at approximately 10.40am today to reports a person had collapsed at Tesco Extra in Margate Road, Broadstairs.

“Ambulance crews attended the scene and the patient was assessed and treated before being taken to hospital.

“Our thanks go to all those who came to the person’s aid prior to our arrival.”
