Margate burglary investigation launched by Kent Police with e-fit released

Detectives investigating a burglary have released a computer image of a "large man" who has been deemed a suspect.

The break-in was reported at a home in Margate after owners found their kitchen window broken.

Jewellery, watches, perfume and a tablet computer were reported stolen from the house in Waverley Road.

A witness says he saw a large man leaving the address and heading down an alleyway at around 1pm on May 14 but officers have today released further details and the e-fit.

The burglary is believed to have taken place at some point between 7am and 3pm.

A police spokesman said: "A description of the suspect was provided to officers investigating the burglary and now they’ve released an image to assist in his identification."
