Rams looking for home comforts

Ramsgate v Hendon

Ramsgate welcome fellow Ryman League Premier Division strugglers Hendon to Southlands on Saturday for their first home game in four weeks.

The Rams haven't won in the league since September 6 but go into the game on a high after their 6-3 win at Hitchin in the FA Trophy.

"We've done brilliantly away from home in the last month," said manager Jim Ward. "In financial terms and for the players it's good that we are at home again though.

"We face a lively side that will get about the pitch and won't give in.

"Every manager I've spoken to in this league says Hendon are a good side and if you look at their results they only tend to lose by one goal.

"Hopefully the same will happen to them this Saturday."

Byron Walker is the only new injury doubt after he sustained kicks to both legs against Hitchin.
