Paramedics were called but had to request assistance from the fire service shortly after 1pm.

It is understood a person was unable to exit a flat so crews used a rope system to lower the patient down to the ground.

The fire service confirmed they were called at 1.14pm to assist paramedics.

A spokesperson said: "I can confirm two fire engines and a technical rescue unit attended."

The ambulance service also confirmed their attendance, but said: "This was a call to a private address and as such we wouldn’t comment on the detail due to patient confidentiality."
