Two charged with drug dealing in Ramsgate

Two men have been charged in connection with reports of drug dealing in a car park.

Police stopped a car on Thursday after receiving reports of criminal activity in Albion Place in Ramsgate.

Officers found wraps containing crack cocaine and heroin during a search of the car in Clements Road.

Jonathan Norman, 44 of Clements Road, and Robert Brown, 48, of Manston Road, were each charged with two counts of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply.

They appeared at Medway Magistrates Court via virtual link on Friday, May 29.

Norman was remanded in custody and Brown was released on bail.

The case will next be heard at Canterbury Crown Court on June 29.
