Klaudijus Klimanskis and Aurimas Vilius on trial accused of murdering Edvardus Barscevicius in Margate

Two men will go on trial this morning accused of murder after a body was discovered in a house in Margate last year.

Klaudijus Klimanskis, 41, and Aurimas Vilius, 24, are accused of killing 38-year-old Edvardus Barscevicius between June 30 and July 3.

The victim’s body had been discovered in Ethelbert Terrace.

Vilius, of Cornwall Gardens and Klimanskis, of Athelstan Road, have pleaded not guilty to murder, and the trial will be translated by two Russian interpreters.

The men have also denied assaulting Slawdmir Szamot and causing actual body harm.
