Two teenagers have been arrested after a man was assaulted during a row on the street.
Police were called just before 1am today (February 1) to Broad Street, near to the junction with Hardres Street in Ramsgate.
There had been a report that a dispute had broken out between two groups of people.
It was alleged that a man in his 30s was assaulted by a group of males before they dispersed and left the scene.
Officers attended and carried out enquiries.
The ambulance service was also at the scene and treated the man for injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
A short while later, officers arrested two 16 year old boys from the local area in connection with the incident.
They remain in custody pending further enquiries.
