Two people needed medical treatment after inhaling smoke in a house fire.
Crews were called to the home in Millmead Road, Margate in the early hours.
Six fire engines arrived at the scene at 2.30am, but the operation was extended to nine fire engines as the blaze intensified.
Residents were warned to keep windows and doors closed while firefighters tackled the flames.
This advice was lifted just before 7am, when the fire service confirmed operations were complete.
Two people required treatment from paramedics due to smoke inhalation, though no one is thought to have been seriously hurt.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
