Warwick Davis meets pupils at St Peter In Thanet Junior School, Broadstairs, for Dwarfism Awareness Month

Pupils were treated to a visit from an acting legend today.

Warwick Davis spoke to pupils at the St Peter In Thanet Junior School, Broadstairs, to speak to them about Dwarfism Awareness Month.

A 12-hour dance-a-thon also took place at the school to raise money for people with the condition.

The children started the challenge at 8am this morning and will go on until 8pm.

The money raised will be donated to Little People UK, which was set up by Warwick Davis and his wife, and Dwarf Sports Association.

Warwick Davis shot to fame in the early 1980s when he starred in Return of the Ewok and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.

He has also featured heavily in the Harry Potter series with roles in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in 2007 and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in 2009.
