A woman has been taken to hospital and two people have been arrested after a reported attack.

Emergency services were called to Boundary Road in Ramsgate yesterday evening.

Ambulance crews treated the victim, and police arrested a man and a woman on suspicion of assault.

A spokesman for the force added: “We were called at about 8.10pm on June 16, following reports that a woman had been assaulted.

“Officers attended, along with SECAMB and the woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

“A 26-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were arrested at the scene and are currently in custody, having been arrested on suspicion of assault.”
