Vinnie Crick, 11, and 13-year-old Ian Orme secured their semi-final bouts by unanimous points decisions before Crick claimed gold by first-round stoppage and Orme won gold in his final by a unanimous points decision.

Alfie Glithero and Ralph Mansfield - both 12 - were triumphant in their finals by a 3-2 split decision over highly-rated opponents.

Rio Licata, 13, also won by a 4-1 split final decision, which took the club's tally to seven bouts and seven wins.

The club finished second in the medals table behind Repton Boxing Club, who entered a large contingent of fighters.

Mario Michael, one of the PEJ ABC coaches, said: “We’re unbelievably proud of our boxers, who put in superb performances against very good opposition from very good clubs.

“We would again like to thank Malwai Nijar and PEJ Court Properties for their continued support.”
