Ramsgate FC have signed six more players

Ramsgate have added six more players to their new-look squad.

They’ve brought in Dan Carrington, George Monger and Ashley Miller from Bostik South East rivals Faversham.

Miles Cornwell, Leo Mazzone and Dan Flemming have also joined the club as boss Nick Davis continues to build a squad to challenge for promotion.

Attacker Cornwell, 29, joins from Whitstable while midfielder Mazzone, 22, arrives from East Grinstead Town.

Flemming, a 22-year-old defender, is stepping up from the Southern Counties East League having played for Fisher last season.

Carrington, Monger and Miller were all key men under Ray Turner at Faversham but have left Salters Lane after a tough season battling relegation.

Rory Smith has been invited to train with Dover Athletic in pre-season, having gone to Aberdeen for a trial last season.

Meanwhile, the club have agreed new deals with Luke Watkins, Ollie Gray, Rob Saunders, George Crimmen, Mikey Dalton, Gil Carvalho, Tom Chapman and Kane Rowland.
