When a taxi pulled up at The Poacher and Patridge pub, a short distance down the road, the officers approached and spoke to a man who had got into the back.

Following a search, they seized the wraps, cash and a mobile phone.

Moustafa Bolat, of no fixed address, was arrested in connection with the incident and was later charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply.

The 22-year-old appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court on Wednesday and was remanded ahead of a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on November 27.
