Tonbridge business, Stradbrook Dental Centre, celebrates 25th birthday

Dozens of partygoers have gathered at a Tonbridge dental practice to celebrate its 25th year of service.

The Stradbrook Dental Centre in Lyons Crescent welcomed staff, clients, friends and family to a BBQ and hog roast on Friday.

The partners at the practice, Amanda Joyner, Simon Peter and Mark Haswell wanted to give something back to their clients who have been loyal to them for the last quarter of a century.

The Mayor and Mayoress of Tonbridge and Malling attended and were given a guided tour of the facilities.

They had the opportunity to see how dentistry and healthcare have changed in the last 25 years and also spoke to patients of the centre both new and long standing.

The pair have also been patients of the practice for some years.

Guests enjoyed a hog roast as well as local Kent wines, beer and juices.

Local charity Hospice in the Weald also attended and £178.50 was raised along with a further practice donation.

A 1990 theme was implemented on the music front and some of the marquee walls were even decorated with pictures of Amanda, Simon and Mark in 1990.

Partner, Dr Mark Haswell, said: This event was really a thank you to all of our patients, staff and the wider community for supporting us since 1990. Here’s to the next 25 years!”
