Food and tow bars recovered as police arrest two on M26

Two men are being held in police custody after they were arrested on a Kent motorway.

Officers patrolling the M26 pulled over a vehicle yesterday, where they discovered food and four tow bars inside.

The vehicle was pulled over at around 5.30pm on Monday.

A 21-year-old homeless man and a 24-year-old man from Milton Regis were arrested on suspicion of theft and released under investigation.

The investigation continues.
