Kitchen fire breaks out in Hadlow after suspected fridge freezer fault

Firefighters have been called out to a kitchen fire this morning.

Crews were called out to a house The Paddock in Hadlow just after 6.45am.

A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman: "Two fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, which is believed to have started due to a fault within a fridge freezer.

"There were no reported injuries."

The fire was out by 7.10am.
