Delays have cleared after a crash on the M20.

Those travelling on the London-bound carriageway had faced up to five miles of traffic due to the accident at around 7.20am.

National Highways said the crash between two cars happened between junction 4 (Leybourne) and junction 2A for Wrotham.

In a recent update on X, it said: “There is no congestion in the surrounding area.”

At the time of the incident, the force said: “Officers are at the scene and lane closures are in place. There are not believed to be any serious injuries.”

All lanes had reopened by 8.30am.

The emergency services have been contacted for more information.
