Disruption eased to Southeastern rail services after power cut at Tonbridge Station

A power cut caused a disruption to rail passengers this morning.

Owing to the outage, Southeastern services could not call at Tonbridge, and trains heading towards London were unable to access platforms one and two.

Services from Hastings could not call in the town, while those from Ashford will use platform 3, which is normally used for coastbound services.

The county’s main rail operator has confirmed the repair has now been made, with normal service resuming.
