Tonbridge: Marcin Wozniak in court accused of stabbing man

A man is due in court today following a stabbing in Tonbridge.

Marcin Wozniak, of Severn Close, is charged with wounding with intent and possessing a knife.

The 34-year-old and a woman, 33, were both arrested following the incident just before 8.30pm on Tuesday in Nursery Close. The woman has been released under investigation.

Both are believed to be known to the victim who was taken to a London hospital with stab wounds to his chest, where he remains in a stable condition.

Wozniak will appear at Medway Magistrates' Court via video link.

Officers would like to talk to anyone who has information about this incident and in particular anyone who saw a grey A Class Mercedes in the area at the time of the incident.
