Man rescued from car after crash in Mill Lane, Hildenborough

A man was pulled from a car following a crash last night.

Firefighters and police were called to Mill Lane in Hildenborough, near Tonbridge , following the smash at 8pm.

Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment, also known as the jaws of life, to release the man from the car.

He was then looked after by paramedics.

Fire crews left the area at 8.30pm.

A spokesman for the police said: "Kent Police was called to a report of a single-vehicle collision in Mill Lane, Tonbridge at around 7.50pm on Monday, October 12.

"Officers attended the scene along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service. There were no reported injuries."
