Man 'stabbed' near Angel Walk shopping centre in Tonbridge

A man has been rushed to hospital after suffering what are thought to be stab wounds near a shopping centre.

The victim, in his 20s, was treated by paramedics and taken to a London hospital after police were called to Angel Lane in Tonbridge, at the front of the Angel Walk shopping centre, at 6.10am this morning.

Detective Inspector Garry Cook of Kent Police said: "Our investigations are still in their early stages and inquiries are ongoing.

"We are keen to hear from anyone who have witnessed the incident or has any information that will help officers."
