Police are hunting for a pair of thieves after a van was stolen from a business in Tonbridge.

Two men were caught on CCTV taking the Mercedes Sprinter from Spit and Polish Alloy Refurbishment in Sovereign Way, Tonbridge between 1am and 1.30am this morning.

The owner Andrew Dowle and his wife Susan discovered the van missing from their yard at around 5am this morning before calling police and are hopeful that the vehicle can be returned.

"It's a big van with distinctive markings on it so it would be easy to spot," said Susan.

The registration number of the van is AY67 0ZW.
