A man has been passed into the care of medics after reports of a sizeable police presence in a town high street.
Officers were called to a property in Commercial Road, Paddock Wood this afternoon.
It follows "concerns for the welfare of a man" inside the building.
Police were called shortly before 4pm and remain at the scene.
The man was safely passed into the care of medical professionals at around 7.25pm.
