Fire crews called to roof fire in Tonbridge

Firefighters have spent the afternoon tackling a roof on fire in Tonbridge.

The call to the property in Higham Lane came at just after midday.

Two fire engines were dispatched, and crews used a fog spike, breathing apparatus and a height ladder to tackle the flames.

They were able to leave the scene just over an hour later.

There were no casualties reported, and the cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
