Suspects bailed after teenager stabbed outside Mercedes-Benz Tonbridge in Vale Road

Two men arrested after a suspsected stabbing in Tonbridge have been bailed.

A 19-year-old was rushed to hospital on Saturday evening after he was found with serious injuries outside the Mercedes-Benz Tonbridge dealership in Vale Road.

His condition is now described as stable.

Another 19-year-old from Tonbridge and a 21-year-old man from Hastings were arrested hours after the attack.

Both have now been bailed to re-attend a police station on March 11.

Police believe the victim and the suspects knew each other.

Forensic teams and officers were spotted in the area.

A police cordon remained in place until Sunday morning, with police searching a patch of land next to the dealership, at the junction with Vale Rise.
