CCTV image released by police investigating burglaries in Tunbridge Wells

A CCTV image has been released of a masked man - after expensive jewels were stolen from two homes - in the hope someone will still recognise him.

A man broke into two private properties in Camden Park in Tunbridge Wells on Thursday, May 8, between 10.30am and 11.45am. High-value gold jewellery, including rings, were reported stolen.

Initial investigations have included a review of available CCTV footage and house-to-house inquiries.

Investigating officers are now asking for the public’s help to identify the man in the image they’ve released.

Detective Constable Celia King said: “We appreciate that the man’s face is obscured by a face covering, but we hope that somebody may still recognise him.”

Local residents with private CCTV or drivers with dashcam footage who were in the area at the time are also encouraged to check their recordings for potential evidence.
