Would you be a Friend of Hawkenbury Rec?

A new group, The Friends of Hawkenbury Rec, has been launched, with the support of Tunbridge Wells Mayor Cllr Joy Podbury.

The aim is to preserve the integrity of the green and peaceful grounds for residents and visitors.

In addition the group hopes to organise community events once the current Covid situation eases.

Hawkenbury Recreation Grounds on the edge of Tunbridge Wells has some a children’s play area, all weather sports areas, cricket pitches and tennis courts, free parking, and direct access to woodland walks.

Membership is open to anyone in Tunbridge Wells with an interest in using the recreation field.
